I have tried various Gardenia oils over the years and have never been fully satisfied with any of them. They've been either too artificial-perfumey, too weak in scent, or something. In contrast, I have been absolutely, delighted with Mountain Crafted's Gardenia Fragrance Oil. The scent is distinctive, but not overpowering or perfumey. Very pleasant
