Properties: This oil is known as an antibacterial, antidepressant, deodorant, fungicidal, stimulant and insect repellent.

Citronella oil is said to help fights depression and gives relief from anxiety, sadness, and negative feelings. It induces a fresh, happy feeling and hope.

The crisp, rich citrus or lemon-like aroma of citronella oil drives away body odor and is used in deodorants and products such as bath, hair and skin products. It can also be mixed with the bath water to have a refreshing bath.

The oil may be added to hair products such as shampoo or hair conditioner and to facial washes to reduce oily secretions. Known as a good hair tonic stated to be effective for treating dandruff.

This oil is well known as an insect repellant as it kills and keeps away insects. It has been found particularly effective on mosquitos and fleas. Add a few drops in 2 ounces of water, shake and spray for deterring insects.

This oil makes a good room deodorizer and disinfectant. Add 5 drops into 2 ounces warm water, shake and spray into the air and counter top surfaces.

Scent Characteristics: This oils aroma is slightly sweet, powerful and has a lemony scent.
