Not knowing whether I preferred a cream, lotion or whipped butter I did the only sensible thing when it came time to place my initial order - I got one of each type.
I'm very glad that I did. While I'm sure there's a difference in the composition of each iteration, to me the main difference is in each's viscosity. Whipped shea butter is the thickest as far a runniness goes. Almost thick enough to qualify as a paste. Would it eventually drip off if not soothed into one's skin, no way! It absorbs easily so it never feels greasy. I'd classify this as the most decadent of the trio of skin preparations. Areas that tend toward dryness (elbows, feet, heels, knuckles) literally drink in this elixir.
I liked it so much, I've re-ordered this. (To be honest, I've also re-ordered the lotion & lotion as well. You can't go wrong in choosing any of these.)
