Sandalwood is one of those smells that tend to vary depending where I’m getting it from. Sometimes the scent tends to be more on the light “clean soap” side. The scent for this lotion is little more on the bold side which is perfect if you are going for a cologne like scent. As a woman, I use it a bit more sparingly.
